Online remote usability method

Usability research conducted by Additional View is an online hybrid usability method of conducting online qualitative and quantitative usability groups. Using proprietary research software (Group Quality®) Additional View moderates online remote usability testing with a group of your target audience.

We source a sample of your target audience from our online panel (paidfocusgroups.com.au), usually 6 to 8 participants, and invite them to take part in an online usability testing group. Each participant logs into a secure virtual testing environment at the same time and a specialised moderator runs the group through a number of usability task on your website. All user actions and metrics are recorded and there is no need to add any complex programming or scripts into you website.

This innovative real-time method of website testing developed by Additional View also permits us to talk with each participant as the testing occurs and discuss as a group how some of the issues and problems can be resolved. The process of running an online usability groups allows us to research respondents in their homes, offices or anywhere they have access to a computer.
